Donald Ellis Gallery Named One of the 20 Best Booths

From 210 galleries from more than 30 countries, Artsy editors have highlighted  Donald Ellis Gallery as one of the twenty best booths at the Armory Show 2017. The gallery’s presentation focuses on 19th century drawings created by Native American warrior artists of Lakota, Cheyenne, and Comanche descent, among others. The works exhibited vary in scale and depict ‘triumphant moments from battles and hunting expeditions, intimate everyday activities, and transcendent visions alike.’
