Charles Edenshaw Retrospective Travels to McMichael Gallery
The groundbreaking retrospective of Haida carver Charles Edenshaw organized by the Vancouver Art Gallery will travel to the McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg from June 28 until September 21, 2014. This is the last venue of this important exhibition of one of the most famous artists of the Northwest Coast.
Donald Ellis Gallery is proud to have assisted the Vancouver Art Gallery in this important exhibition. The exhibition was curated by Robin K. Wright, Professor of Art History, Curator and Director of the Bill Holm Center at the Burke Museum, University of Washington and Daina Augaitis, Chief Curator/Associate Director of the Vancouver Art Gallery, with Haida advisors James Hart and Robert Davidson.
